Michael was born in Melbourne, Australia and grew up on in Western Canada in a little hick town Called Kamloops.

In the mid 80's, Michael attended two local high schools in Kamloops, Canada but found it difficult, dull and boring. He found that most teachers who were teaching high school in Kamloops in that time period could not think outside the box. As a result there wasn’t much to offer students who aspired to more than just loggers, blue collar workers or uneducated housewives. As he called this the “Trailer Park Life”.

He was always the class clown in high school. He was always in trouble for goofing off in class,
On one occasion when he was caught goofing off in Drama class. His teacher Mrs. Peterson yelled at him. She told him he was not normal as he was not going to grow up to be lawyer, Doctor or accountant but an actor and that she expected much more out of him than the other students in her class.

As result of continuous goofing off in class, Michael got kicked out of high school. As result he started taking theatre classes at the Western Canadian theatre Company in Kamloops. This is were he started to realise his dreams and his felt he could be so much more than just some dull blue collar worker living the hick life in Kamloops.

In Canada Michael was a manager of an art gallery and that’s were he got the nickname Micky Blue. This is were old blues eyes develop an eye for good quality art thus helped him capture the feelings he was experiencing  when a shooting an imagines while doing his photography.
